Other Fitness Activities In the summer, I love to swim -- not really for exercise, but just for fun

To be able to use as much weight (or more) than Cathe Friedrich in Maximum Intensity Strength!
Loved ones' opinion of video habit:
Most people think my collection is amazing and pretty cool. My mother can't
understand why anyone would want to exercise so much. And I have an
8-year-old nephew who was flabbergasted when he saw on a tape that males
actually did aerobics. He thought it was for sissies, and then I turned on
Donna-Mite, and he really got into the music!

Underrated:
The most underrated video has to be Grace Lazenby's The Next Level. That
is such a total blast, and the music is some of the best, maybe the
best, on any tape I have. The most underrated instructor is, I think,
Charlene Prickett. This woman really knows her stuff -- she's a wealth
of information. She was telling us things years ago that other
professionals are just now starting to say. Another thing I really
admire about her is that she works you hard - really hard! Many TV
fitness people seem to cater to the beginners, but not Charlene. (At
least not on her videos -- I've never seen her TV program.) For just
plain
ol' fun, it's Jeff and Scott (Vandiver and Cole, respectively).
Biggest Disappointments:
Lori Fetrick's workout. Blech, phooey! The step part was just A MESS. (The
weights section is good, though.)
Would love to see:
I'd like lots of advanced workouts, with complex but not frustrating
choreography, and with music that makes you wanna dance. The right music can
add so much to a workout, but it seems as though most producers and/or
instructors don't realize that.
Words of Wisdom:
Crosstrain, crosstrain, crosstrain! Varying your workouts gets the best
results, both in looks and strength. When you hit a plateau, that means you
need to spice things up a little bit!
