Biggest Disappointments:
The 5 tape series of the Fitness Pros! I was
crazy about the TV show but the tapes were awful!!! Also Any tape by
Karen Voight. I have nothing personal against her, but she is way to
strict and serious for me!!
Would love to see:
In MHO- true circuit training videos with hard cardio
and tough strength segments!! Cathe's new Bodyworks tapes might be the
ticket!!
Best Motivation:
My wall calendar!! I have a desk calendar taped to my
wall where I chart my workout, intensity,and how I felt after each
workout. This really motivates me because I can see how far I have come
and plan where I want to go.
Words of Wisdom:
One of the best pieces of advice that I can give someone about
exercising is to listen to your body. Years ago, I was a self-admitted
exercise addict. If I missed a day, I felt that I had lost everything I
had gained. I was so hard on myself!! Nowdays, I always take at least
two days off a week. By doing this, I have actually IMPROVED my fitness
level!
